Why do Filmmakers in India have to go through this turmoil, They say its a democratic country...do they really mean it or its said just to look good on profile. There is no freedom of speech nor creativity, If a movie is made remotely indicating on social issues or conflicts the Government steps in to put a BAN on that. Where does this Govt. go when they have to take action against rapists or murderers or people who scam and bring the nations pride down. Damn this Govt. Filmmakers around the world make movies on great conflicts and get appreciated all over, the same movie if its released here they let it run and its applauded but one of our own pin points conflicts related to our own country...they get agitated. I feel so bad for Santosh Sivan Asc Isc he made a great movie which does not involve the political conflicts but have shown how the common people are affected due to them, revolving around an orphan girl. Is that a huge mistake,Its really disheartening to hear that INAM wont be screening from tomorrow due to unavoidable circumstances, well what could be that. As elections are approaching all they can think is to save their A***** or use this as an excuse to gain votes in particular centers, damn you politics and politicians. Being an AVID fan of cinema which not only entertains you, sometimes puts out few facts which we are not aware of, shows a picture of whats happening around us, Im glad I got to watch the movie first day..but sad at the same time that not many will get to see it, I know piracy is always at disposal these days....still the hard work is going unappreciated by many!!!! Inam is a great piece of work by Santosh Sivan, even though it had a life span of 3 days in the theaters around the nation, It has reached many and have conveyed the message. Im sure there are other mediums through which this movie will reach the masses. My best wishes to the whole Team of Inam and especially to the character Nandan played by S. Karan. We pride ourselves too much on our democracy, I believe its just a Sham...After censor board passes the movie with the certificate, why does the damn government pokes its nose in to it...then why do you have a Censor Board..Isnt that part of the govt. ...So damn irritated because it has become a trend now!!! Im sure there are many who feel the same like me.
