Why do I do this to myself? I work on one book, then another budges its way into my life, and I work on that one too... and now a third niggles. I feel like a plate spinner, some chap or chappess spinning plates on sticks in the hopes all whirl well. And none come smashing down at my feet. I seldom make New Years resolutions - we all know what happens to most of those. But this year I have several and each one will be accomplished, I swear on my very own nose.
