Why do I feel the City of Waterville is unable to tell the truth - TopicsExpress

Why do I feel the City of Waterville is unable to tell the truth or follow confidentiality laws regarding this project? Why have I had it with the delays and changing requirements on this loan and why do I feel the city is completely untrustworthy? Why should other investors exercise extreme caution in releasing confidential financial information to the city that they seem to have no problem sharing freely with the media and the world while violating their legal obligation to protect statutorily established confidential information or fulfill a statute that requires the establishment of a privacy policy? I was informed in writing today by the Mike Roy that the city of Waterville has no Confidentiality Policy, no Privacy Policy and no PII Policy and it is their policy that any information shared with them can be made public, Maine statutes prohibit this. I certainly regret trusting my personal information would be safeguarded. Likely city violations of laws requiring the city to maintain confidentiality of: financial records tax returns an assessment by a person who is not employed by the authority of the credit worthiness or financial condition of any person or project records that have been designated confidential by statute: Title 1, §542: Notice of information practices Title 1, section 402, subsection 3, paragraph A. & C-1.
