Why do I think we need Connecting for Kids? I had a mom contact me because her child just received a diagnosis and she was feeling overwhelmed. I introduced her to another mom whose child had the same diagnosis but was a little older and this is what the mom wrote, Feel free seriously to contact (me), i remember being a mom of a toddler with (this diagnosis) and how scary it was and all the unknowns. I never want another mom to feel as alone as i did back then. If you are feeling overwhelmed...contact us. If you are willing to be a mentor to another mom...contact us. You are not alone.
