Could he have had a better chance of survival by starting early? The White Rose inside Germany began after Hitler already took power, so going was tough for the members of The White Rose. There were independent gorilla groups all over Europe to fight against NAZI Expansionism, but the fight against oppression was an uphill battle. Citizens of the USA (who wanted to fight against Hitler) had to join the Canadian military to begin early.
