Why do some Seventh Day Adventist disregard Sis. White? It was through her writings that the bible was opened up to me like never before. It is through her teachings that my eyes have been opened to the seriousness of my position with Christ. The deep yearnings that I had, for years, to walk closer with the Lord, only happened when I put into practice what Sis White admonished us to do. The only conclusion I can come to is that some SDAs really just want to embrace the world and be like all the other churches. Thats a dangerous mindset, because how can we be a separate people if the world cant tell a difference between us and themselves? All I can do is stand firm and refuse to bow down to idol worship. Its a choice, friend. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
