Why do some folks think one needs to be paid to write passionately for Buhari or GEJ? What about conviction and passion? I do not deny the fact that some people get paid to laud either GMBs image or that of GEJ, but extending the categorisation to everyone who does is shallow and watery. I have written consistently on Facebook and in some of the nations newspapers since 2003 on the need to look the way of Buhari for good governance. When the shoeless mantra stuff took over the whole media in 2011, I wrote consistently to tear it to shreds;that it was meant to hide the grand incompetence of President Jonathan behind a finger of humble beginnings. And even beyond this medium, Im deeply involved at an informal level to help canvass votes for GMB without having met him. Must everything be based on material exchange? How are we going to grow with this sort of mentality?
