Why do some people have to come to the end of themselves, possibly lose everything, before they turn to God and entrust their life to him? I was one of those people over twenty years ago. My pride and inability to admit I was in need, kept me from the very relationship that would give me life. I was blind, but now I see is so true. I was blind to my selfishness, my bitterness, my inability to face the ugliness in my own heart. Life with God does not afford me life without trial, but instead gives me the power to walk through the trial and overcome. Open your eyes to His love. His love will transform even the hardest of hearts. I know...He changed mine.
