Why do some succeed and others not? Often times we look around and wonder how someone got so successful. You might say, I’m smarter than that person. I have more education than that person. I work harder than that person. I am not evil like that person or I am not greedy like them. Have you stop to consider that no matter what you may feel is the case for injustice that they actually may have stopped, sat down, written out a plan and executed it? Do you want success in your life by God’s standards? Do you want success in your spiritual life and ministry? Well the answer is as simple as giving that plan to Jesus. (Prov 21:5 & Prov 16:3) In everything you do, submit it to the will of God and He will hold you up and as Proverbs 16:3 promises, “commit your works (thoughts and plans) to the Lord and they will be established”. Really, it’s not that hard to obtain success. The responsibility clearly falls on us, the condition and devotion of our hearts, and how our faith and our actions work together. Is the Lord the center of your universe? Or are you running to Him only in distress? Submit to Him before things go array and you’ll start to see an extreme change in the outcome of the things you do.
