Why do we always relate being good with light and bad with dark? - TopicsExpress

Why do we always relate being good with light and bad with dark? What if dark was the good..or more so the salvation. What I mean by that is, what if we all just accept that in each of us, as humans, we all have a dark. We know that the dark can be uglier than anything anyone else could imagine, but we accept it. We look to it as a bit of salvation in the aspect of pushing ourselves to the closest brink of our deepest corner of darkness, just to bring ourselves to the light. That the light, in itself, is an ideal...one that is unachievable. It is imperfect perfection, simply because we cannot attain it. So, in turn, the dark becomes the accepted salvation because we know we do not wish to go there. The light is just some hint of fantasy we hold as a false standard. It is not real. It is good, in theory, but its lack of tangibility is what makes it the damnation.......
