Why do we do this shit? - Jamey Price Pikes Peak, Day Six, 02:15. Race Day. Summit duty. I have about a two to three mile hike from 12k to 14k feet, through all of Sector Three, before my race even starts. I will have nothing but my camera, my pack, and a gallon of water. Green flag around 8 AM. Checkered flag whenever, which Im told could be around 8 PM. My plan is to shoot the clients at the summit and then hike down for action shots once theyve finished.
