Why do we judge others and us so quickly? Few days before, I called massage therapist clinic to confirm the appointment. Me: hi, this is kapil? Receipnist: who is this? Me: this is kapil. Receipnist: sorry I could not get your name. Who is this? Me: (I was upset and angry on my self because of my accent and him - because generally he is the only among few who recognizes my name easily without spelling but that day he was not able to recognize.) Hence I reluctantly spell my name. He thanked me for that. When I went there he apologized to me for not able to hear my name. I said it is all right it is my accent that makes it difficult. He said: sometimes my hearing aid does not work properly. I realized why we judge other people and us so quickly. I am glad that I did not show my anger and frustration to him over the phone. Do YOU have such experience?
