Why do we study mythology, and pretend that it is real? Boredom? Entertainment? Probably. But, it is more likely that we study metaphorical meaning, because we are still learning, and we are still learning how to communicate. Why do we pretend that there is such a thing as race? Clearly, everyone has a brain. What need is there for categories that imply the fiction of race? What need is there for a fantasy that implies a fiction of an erroneous superiority per appearances?
