Why do we train Public Servants to escalate violence in almost any situation they encounter/interfere with? Its called one-up your opponent ... when a citizen raises a voice to be heard during peaceful protest, Law Enforcement Officers may raise a fist to stop the verbal message with physical force... if a citizen holds a knife, Law Enforcement Officers will shoot to kill.. just in case they stab someone... what if that knife turns out to be a screw driver and Law Enforcement Officers only felt threatened after pepperspraying the perpetrator in the face... who tells the family of a dead young man that they made a mistake? No one does... the Law Enforcement Agency will investigate themselves and move on to kill again, after clearing themselves of any wrong doing. Arming men and women in the name of protection/peace is the #1 problem plaguing our planet. Violence always creates more violence... it does not create a peaceful society. Stop the madness!!
