Why do we want God to be our spare tire? We want him close enough to us in case we need him like the spare in our trunk. We only need him when something bad happens like when your tire goes flat. We only want to obey him when we go thru our tough time just like we use our spare till we get our original tire patched. Then when that circumstance passes God goes to the back of our mind. Just like the spare goes back in the trunk till we need it again. God deserves to be your primary and deserves the respect for you to recognize his authority and make him primary in your life.
