Why do we want to hurt the people we love the most with awful painful words you can never take back? Why can’t we bite our tongue? Words can hurt so much more than physical violence. How should we handle an argument with someone you love dearly? In the past I can honestly and say I would be hateful with my words with someone if they hurt me. In an argument I would yell just as loud as they would. Is that Christ like? First of all, if someone is angry there is a reason behind it. I relate angry with hurt. If I am in this type of situation in the future where there is an argument brewing I hope I can stop it and say “we need to take a moment and breath – put into prayer – give the person a hug – say I love you” Thessalonians 5:15 Don’t be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you. Rather, be good to each other to everyone else.
