Why do what should be seemingly simple tasks turn into hours long ordeals? Trying to wire trailer lighting on the pickup has been a several hour long pursuit of frustration at every turn. Missing tools (when one is a Chrome-slinger, this is particularly troubling when you cant find your own tools), corroded wires, wires that are grounded at one end but somehow hot at the other, wires that are hot at one end are discontinuous... Enough for today. Tomorrow will be spent in slow-motion with my dad at the hamfest where he and I will have the best time as we always do and I will get back to it Sunday, with hopefully improved health, perspective and attitude.
