Why do you say that a crisis? The problem in Bangladesh is not like this that the politicians are in crisis of failing to find a formula out which can provide with a free, fair and acceptable election in the couple of months to come. Here what happens is the government under Sk Hasina wants to sustain her power either by holding an election full of rigging that will ensure them to win and then be in power again. But the people of Bangladesh and the prodemocratic institutions dont want to let it happen. Especially, the main opposition parties are highly rigid not to let it happenat all. The reason behind it is if a fair election can anyhow be held, the opposition alliance under the leadership of Begum Khaleda will win a absolute majority, and as a result, be in power thereby. So, if any election is fair, BNP will be highly gainer when highly loss counter if it is as per the blueprint of the government. So, what I wanted to mean above is what going on in Bangladesh is not a crisis other than an open fight between the parties in power and those in the opposition. In this situation, it, in the name of dialog, is nothing but to deteriorate the whole environment that can cause the country fall in a bottomless hole. The only solution now is either to hold an effective movement so the government becomes bound to expand the process of holding a free and fair election, or for any power to force it to do so for the greater interest of the country to run its democracy. But it seems that no dialog can solve the problem in this regard as it is not a crisis but the fight to continue or get in power.
