Why does my 2 year old ask me to put her to bed, read her a story, sing her a zillion songs, pray, ask for water, get said water, ask for light off which really means keep the light ON. And then cry for fifteen minutes b/c (the audacity!) I actually put her to bed. Then proceeds to play in her room causing all sorts of ruckus for 45 minutes and counting? I wouldnt have put you to bed a full 45 minutes before bedtime IF YOU HAD NOT ASKED ME TO!
