Why does police men and women feel that they can have attitude and there is nothing us ordinary folk can do about it? If he/she wants to be rude or disrespectful or just plain problematic, then it is ok, because he/she is wearing a badge. The reality is, that attitude is so typically Apartheid-police. Is their motto not: TO SERVE AND PROTECT???? I do hope the outcome of the Marikana hearings [and our insistence on our rights in our constitution] changes that attitude for us.
