Why does the weather report on the TV News always downplay the temperatures here? They say that it will be 35 or 36C, and from past experience I know it will therefore in actual fact be something like 41 or 42 degrees. Are they doing this on purpose to stop people from panicking about climate change? When you start getting up into the mid 40s people can die of heat stroke and the sick and vulnerable do not fare too well. Older people should stay right out of the sun and probably inside their homes where they can stay well hydrated. Shouldnt they at least tell people the truth so they can prepare? It makes me angry...
