Why does there exist in our society such a passionate and vocal group determined to keep God out of government, schools and daily life? Seemed such a waste of time trying to regulate what a person believes. Well the smoke has drifted away and before me sits the obvious that for so long I failed to see. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness are God given rights according to Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence. If God is removed from the picture then our God given rights suddenly become government granted privileges. Privileges that can be revoked. Like free speech, bearing arm, being secure in our homes well you get the picture
