Why dont you let people come close to you? He asked her. You need an answer? She retorted back. Yes. Ofcourse. He said with a smile. Okay. Fine then listen. And she began to say, I dont let people come close to me because I dont want others to play with my feelings and emotions. You know, the more you try to keep people away from you the more they try to come close to you and a day comes were you loose and they win over you and come close to you. She looked at him and he said, Go ahead. She again started saying, But, you feel happy by getting defeated by them and you start living happily with that person. You share your dark and deep secrets with them. You dont hesitate in front of them for anything. You cry your heart out in front of them. You laugh, you smile with them. You create so many good memories with them. You start to trust them blindly. Sometimes, you get angry on them, You get upset by their behaviour, no matter how many mistakes they do, you quickly forgive them if they ask for forgiveness. You are REAL you in front of them. You start planning for the future also. You get so attached with them that everytime your cell rings you think it might be that person. Just a mere thought of loosing them scares the hell out of you. Sometimes, you even fight with your parents, siblings and friends also because of that person. You indirectly or directly hurt many people just because of that one person. You try to spend as much time as you can with that person. You give almost everything you have for them be it money, time, luxuries, love, care, attention, trust even your heart also. You think your heart is safe with them but unfortunately one day they just disappears from your life without giving you valid reason, without thinking of you, breaking all the promises they once did to you, breaking your trust completely, breaking the relation they once shared with you and most important thing breaking your heart which you gave to them with so much of assurance of not getting hurt by them. He went numb for a while after hearing all these things from her and a smile from his face got disappeared. She looked at him and again said, You know, thats what happens when you let people in and they destroy you completely and walk away from your life. :( AaDii :(
