Why dont you work a real job? So you just depend on your husband? Dont you get tired of being at home watching your kids all day? Do you feel guilty for putting the financial burden all on your husband? Most modern day housewives are bombarded with such questions. And why? This society has frowned upon women who choose to be home. Deeming them as lazy, uneducated, unintelligent, gold diggers, etc. These are all negative connotations that have no truth to them. Our world says women should be strong, independent, career driven women. Women shouldnt depend on a man for anything. Even if this man is her husband. We watch shows where a woman puts her aspirations before her family. She will leave behind her husband and child, to pursue long time goals. But is this truly benefiting her children? According to SecureTeen, Moms might feel over-burdened and weary of trying to balance work and family. If moms bring their frustration home, children could develop a negative attitude. They could perceive her work as a source of distress for their family.Mothers, in spite of having their kid’s best interests at heart, might fail to provide their kids a safe emotional outlet. They might not be enthusiastic to hear their kids’ issues after a hectic day at work. Even though there are some great working moms, who balance outside work and domestic life, the mass majority of women find it hard to give 100% of themselves to their jobs and family.
