Why faith does not make sense. One night, a - TopicsExpress

Why faith does not make sense. One night, a teacher of Israel called Nicodemus came to consult JESUS. Nicodemus asked how a man can be born-again without re-entering his mother’s womb. Jesus answered him by saying what is born of the flesh is flesh and what is born of the spirit is spirit-John 3:6. The two cannot be mixed. The former is physical as the latter is spiritual. The former is of the will of man and the latter is of the faith of man – John 1:12-13. Senses are the currency of the physical realm while faith is the currency of the spirit realm. They are as far apart as analogue is to digital. Spirit is to digital as senses is to analogue. Once a devise has gone digital it is difficult to utilize it by analogue means. It may be possible but it will be a bit cumbersome to say the least. God gave us the senses so that we can navigate our analogue world through seeing, touching, feeling smelling and hearing. But for us to dial-up into the celestial realm, we have to log-out of our terrestrial mind-set and go spiritual; because God is a spirit and those who wish to relate to Him must truthfully do so in spirit – John 4:24. How is this possible? God Himself made it possible by creating us as spirits encased in a body - Gen 2:7. Our SIM-card within is spiritual while our cover outside is perishable flesh and blood. To make a connection we have to activate the inner man of the spirit. And this is done by logging in with the PIN called faith. Faith logs in by believing first and bypassing the sense-realm which insists on seeing first. That is why without faith, it is impossible to please God – Heb 11:6.The spirit of a man is the lamp God uses to search out his faith - Prov 20:27 So using both the sight and faith will send mixed signals and cause our communication to be lost in translation. Those who insist on using their senses will not be able to log-in above because their spiritual SIM is not loaded – 1 Cor 2:14.But those who persist on being spiritual, will be counted among the just who walk by faith and not by sight- 2 Cor 5:7. And soon their faith will grow so great that it will not make any sense –Rom 4:19-21
