Why getting funding to house the homeless is exhausting and difficult: Exhibit A! Any agency that wants to participate in the 2014 CoC Application process are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd, 9-11 am at Housing Initiatives (1110 Ruskin Street). The only projects eligible are for 1) permanent supportive housing with all beds dedicated to serve chronically homeless (per HUD definition) and 2) rapid-rehousing projects created for households with children who originally came from the street or shelters. All projects required following strict HUD regulations and require cash match. If interested please review the information below.
