Why hand to hand self defense is so important. A firearm might not always be readily accessible, legal, or permitted. Perhaps if this woman couldve fought her way free of the first attackers hold, he wouldnt be able to use her as a shield. But also, if she knew to turn the first attacker and use HIM as a human shield, the results mightve been reversed. This also goes to show that threats come in many forms. Just because youre not a part of the fight, doesnt always mean you wont get drawn into the fray! Stay safe, everyone!
