Why has the Catholic Church assembled to speak on the family? - TopicsExpress

Why has the Catholic Church assembled to speak on the family? The first conclusion to make out of this fact is that she never assembles on her own or by man’s will, but by the power of the Holy Spirit (whom withdraws from senseless counsels {Wis. 1:5}) which seeks to bring peace and unity within all communities and families by extorting the truth in love. This Synod on the Family is most likely the most important document in the 21st century concerning mankind and our earthly stability, for it will talk about some of the most central issues in our society today. Stay posted on it, but the real objective is to read it when it is fully done and documented; for then you will receive it in its fullness and not fragmented and distorted. We can see this is already happening here and there which is misleading and erroneous to believers and non-believers alike. The synod on the family most likely will take a long time to finish (1yr or a few years) as all good things take time... “Disorder in the society is the result of disorder in the family.” – Elizabeth Anne Seton
