Why is Israel not directly involved in the Syrian war? Because Israel knows that the United States, not only supports Al-Qaeda but also supports the ethnic cleansing that is going on. So Israel does not get directly involved. Jewish Law does not allow this direct involvement. It allows anything done by its agents. It is something like when Israel protected its agent the Lebanese Forces when they massacred the Palestinians in Sabra and Shatila, but was not directly involved in the massacring process. They gave them the security to kill but did not do the killing themselves. It is a weird logic, but it is true.
