Why is everything a fight between who is wrong and who is right? The world keeps changing and we have choices. If someone breeds for something different than you the first reaction should not be that it is crap, what I breed is better. The goal of anyones breeding program should be their own. Breed for what you want to improve. The reward you will find is when people who value the same type of cattle as you appreciate them enough to pay for them. Simple as that. It really bugs me when we get it in our heads that there is one common goal. I am guilty of this myself. I too often judge what others do. If I take the most valuable skill I have learned from 4-h it is to always start with positives and give reasons why you appreciate one kind of animal more than an other. This skill shows respect. Social media gives us instant communication. Take a moment before you comment and think would I say this in front of a crowd of people. If you dont like or understand why somebody likes something you dont. A question beats a comment. You may open your mind and learn why. Bryan
