Why is it important to wash your hands often? Why do we wash, wipe and clean things? It is to keep them looking good and make them last a long time. We keep our bodies clean to stay healthy. Dirt in your body makes you sick and could kill you! Dirt in your life and heart make you sick and lead to death. It is no wonder God demands pure living. He knows we need it, and it is the only way to truly please Him. Unforgiveness, hate, envy, pride, jealousy, greed, etc. lead us down a road to death. God replaces guilt and shame with love, joy, peace, and hope! Why not live pure? The benifits are eternal! Amen~~ Psalm 24:3-6 NIV Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord ? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior.
