Why is it? – Day 2 10 but the one who is rich should boast in his humiliation because he will pass away like a flower of the field. 11 For the sun rises with its scorching heat and dries up the grass; its flower falls off, and its beautiful appearance is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will wither away while pursuing his activities. (James 1:10-11 HCSB) Why is it we think the temporary stuff matters and we ignore the eternal? Am I making sense to you? We put so much importance in houses, cars and money but all these rust, rot and disappear! Yet we put off the eternal things of God. We plan to do them another day or we say well give God more time later. Why is it we can be so backwards? Could we be broken some how? Could it be we need a savior? (John L)
