Why is my child like this? Why is he different from other kids? Why cant he talk? Why me? Why this God? Why? Is it my fault that my child was born like this? Is it his fault? I mean he is too small, what did he do to deserve this? TRUE! In life there are more questions than answers. Especially, Why? We want to know why we are in situations we are in. We want to know why us? We want to know what we did wrong to deserve this. I would like to answer this question from the scriptures, I dont mean to start a church here, but...allow me to quote, will you? The question why? was asked centuries ago. Remember John 9:1-3 when Jesus and his disciples were walking and came across a man who was born blind? They also asked; why?. Ok let me quote; 1 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been born blind. 2 His disciples asked him, Teacher, whose sin caused him to be born blind? Was it his own or his parents sin? 3. Jesus answered, His blindness has nothing to do with his sin or his parents sins. He is blind so that Gods power might be seen at work in him. Yes, we need not be in denial when we are in situations. We dont need to blame ourselves and our parents when in dire situations. Its reality, we need to face it than put a blame on others. The scripture emphasizes that. Some answers are only known to the creator, we can only face our reality. It also says in Deuteronomy 29;29 There are some things that the Lord our God has kept secret; but he has revealed his Law, and we and our descendants are to obey it forever. Leave it to the Lord, dont blame your mother or father or yourself.
