Why is the world up in arms against drone attacks but not against the wholesale massacre of innocent men, women and children killed in acts of terror by those against whom the strikes are aimed.Just consider the statistics. 2,200 people killed by drone strikes in the past decade, at least 400 were civilians On the other hand 40,000 deaths (that’s an estimated figure) due to acts of terror by the so called victims of drone attacks.Thousands were civilians and the bombings targetted such sacred occassions as Eid prayers, Funeral prayers and mosques and Imambargahs during religous occassions. Will no one stand up for the innocent dead in our cities. Do their lives mean nothing to anyone in any part of the world.
