Why it takes re-remembering for me all the time i dont know..... But it does. Its a choice I have to make. I cant make anyone feel anything. I dont get to add my load of crap to anyone elses pile of worries. My problems are no worse than his or hers or yours! They are just mine. I have dealt with life on my own this far and shall continue to do so going forward. Rain or shine....hot or cold..... Healthy or sick. ....I dont get a choice. Sympathy is not wanted and mercy is not given. So off we go. There is and will be no feeling pity for myself.....there are others that need more than I. More time, more listening, more prayers, more money, more life, more joy, more hope. Happiness is part of life, rare as it has been lately. So shall pain and sorrow be part of that same life. I choose to go forward....on my own, brief glimpses of sun, sky, friends and smiles along the way. But going backwards is not an option and staying where I sit is just as detrimental....so forward ever forward I shall go. Nothing changes. I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself. D. H. Lawrence
