Why must Hollywood SHIT on my childhood. Apparently, Disney, which purchased the film rights to Indiana Jones from Paramount, has but a time limit on when Indy 5 with Harrison Ford can happen or they will moved forward with a reboot with, I shit you not, Bradley Cooper donning the legendary fedora. 1st of all, what is the rush it was almost 20 years between The Last Crusade and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, and is not Harrison Ford busy working for the Mouse playing Han Solo in Star Wars 7? 2nd, why a reboot? The first movie chronologically is The Temple Doom set in 1935 whilst the last one was set in 1957. Thats about 22 years of adventures to fill in. James Bond waited until 20 movies to reboot. And Indiana Jones was created because the Bond people were not interested in Spielberg directing one of the Bond movies. And finally, Bradley Cooper? Oh come on. Bradley Cooper is best at playing uber douche bags. And when does play a charmer, its well, The A Team. His Face was horrible. Fords appeal as Indy, is that he is an everyman. Cooper aint that. If Ford is out, then I would go with Nathan Fillion of TVs Castle. He would bring that everyman vibe the part needs. Just watch his old series Firefly.
