Why our Politicians are always BUSY in Port Moresby and they - TopicsExpress

Why our Politicians are always BUSY in Port Moresby and they don’t have enough time for the people who voted them? When you see someone is so busy you know that that person is really up to something and means business. You expect to see a lot of accomplishment or achievements. But in Papua New Guinea, when we vote our MPs, they disappear and spend most of their times in Port Moresby and less time in their electorates. When you want to see them they will always say, “I am busy and come another day”, only to give the same excuse when you turn up again. If our MPs have been too busy then we expect to see what they have achieved in terms of service delivery in the country because that is their business. But in reality our electorates are the same since independence. On the other hand the governments hands down billions of kina every year for the name of development, monies which never get to the people. That means our MPs have been busying about something else and you all will probably know what I mean.
