Why should Haitians demand this and that? Ask of whom? Or protest this and that? Complain to whom? -We are- the government. The occupation regime was never inclusive and, besides, it has collapsed and lost any semblance of #democracy it ever had. The international community can do what it likes with its fringe Haitian groups that represent no one in particular; it is unproductive to take any notice of them. Members of the genuine #Haitian opposition have formulated a transitional government that will organize #elections before October 15, 2015. United States President Barack Obama has been made aware of these plans by Haitians. Members of the Transitional Government will be ineligible to run in the elections. The Transitional Government will be led by legal scholar and former first lady Mirlande #Manigat. The 18 proposed members are listed below. The list is preceded by Mrs Manigat’s recent address to the nation on the occasion of the Parliament’s dissolution.
