Why should I Study Osteopathy? Deciding to study Osteopathy has been one of the most challenging and yet rewarding decisions I have ever made in my life. I have worked in the fields of Physical therapy, Rehabilitation and Education for over 20 years as well as a practitioner, External Examiner and CMEs Courses Consultant. I been impressed by the variety and depth of the Osteopathic education delivered to me by several famous and well known DOs in the World. The fields of both Medicine and Osteopathic courses has been both enlightening and stimulating, and has been the answer to many of my frustrations with the field of Physical therapy and Rehabilitation in general. I can honestly say that this course is very well grounded in Science, Research and Bio mechanics. I feel confident about the overall benefits and the importance of the role of Osteopathy in Primary Health Care. I already feel a great sense of satisfaction in treating and working with patients in my outpatient’ clinic. Being able to successfully diagnose and effectively treat patients, bringing relief from pain and anxiety is incredibly rewarding and worth all the hard work that the five year course demands. NOW, comes to the very important questions: why someone should Study Osteopathy?, Many answers comes to my head. but i can summarized it in the following points : 1. Now, I can help myself Study something complete and useful rather getting courses here and there where it doesnt connect or help much at the end of the day. 2. Financial rewarding : when you can do something no one else can do, you put the right price for the Product (of course with respect to ethical rules of treating patients). 3. If you are one of those who like to change/ Challenge yourself and hate to repeat the same work day after day after day ..Osteopathy is the true answer for you. Simply because every patient is a new patient, new challenge, new wining and success. It make your day different, and makes you satisfied that you can do something useful to yourself, your patient and yet new and rewarding. 4. Become one of those PIONEERS :the History always remember those take the chances and start something doesnt exist.( like Osteopathy in the Middle East) 5. If you are one of those, who like to be different …think of the following: how many Medical school / Therapy school in Egypt or even in the Middle East? Well, how many Doctor who truly can do something different (like Osteopathic Doctor or osteopath) treating conditions no one else can Help? 6. If you would like to be different, able to help you patient more efficiently, get rewarded in your community without leaving the country, as well as help your people and country by providing the best possible care to our patient and our Families…there is one simple answer…OSTEOPATHY. I hope I am clear on the subject: that Profession are Great and respected, My focus today on Learning new things and absolutely not against anyone. God Bless you all. HK
