Why the Colts? Im asked that ALOT! My Dad Big Red was his nickname was a legend in officiating sports! & coaching!! We traveled when I was little as he wore that striped shirt with whistle dangling darting across the football fields or chest protector behind the plate as hed yell Strike!!! He installed strength and never quit attitude in me..as then he became my coach from age 11 till 25.. let me tell you..I had to earn that spot behind the plate if I missed a ball I heard it! Which fired me up!! Of course football was always rolling-Monday nights & Sundays but then the cancer came..then I had to be Dads coach..Id always compare he cancer adventure with his bad days to our Colts football..saying we cant win them all..todays just a bad game we haveta practice harder..hed tell me he was ready to go to be in his resting place ..Heaven.. I would then tell him not to leave me here alone wed giggle..& man would it make his week if the Colts won...and Friday mornings Id walk in & be all decked out in my Colts attire ..(which I still faithfully wear on all Fridays) he would smile so big and say theres my pretty gurl.. Thats why I Love my Colts Football ~We won-Dad !!! Love you more Dad..... Sis
