Why the sudden rush to archives and the digging out of pictures - TopicsExpress

Why the sudden rush to archives and the digging out of pictures and videos and interviews of the former General? Why can’t we rather see what is coming as a challenge and blow in the face and use our last minute might positively? Maybe by flooding this medium with pictures and videos and interviews of the incumbent these 6 years. We can paint white black but we can’t change the spots of a leopard. There is an extent to which our packaging, photoshopping and bashings can go especially in the face of the obvious. The Vice Presidential Candidates won’t do the magic, so whether the stubborn, prodigal, popular, most preferred or the meekest is chosen, it won’t matter. The determinants of the 2015 general elections will be the presidential candidates. Truth is that there are various interests at stake and these interests are all influenced by various mindsets. For instance, those who will actually go out to vote on the d-day have a mindset (even if they are under aged) and the supporters (not necessarily those that will go out and vote) of the two main presidential candidates also have a mindset and these mindsets will not only affect the voting patterns but it will affect the results from the length and breadth of the country. At the end, what will matter is that a winner will emerge. What JEGA and his team will do to announce results timely and accurately will go a long way to undermine or justify the figures by other observers and the video clips from polling stations that will go viral. Irrespective of what will happen, I don’t see a situation where either party will concede defeat because as we know pot is always calling kettle black and a thief knows a thief once he sees one. The courts will not be the solution when gbege will set. By that time even the SANs must have passed immigration to jet off with any valid visas on their passport. And for those who use to have the liver to chop money, no matter the size of the Ghana Must Go they won’t have to think once to say no o, because by that time, the death that will come with the Ghana Must Go will be faster than death caused by ebola. We could for the umpteenth time get on the global spotlight for the not always so good headlines but the chaos may intensify. The innocent, the vulnerable and the common people may have to pay with their lives as usual. People will be blamed. Names will be called but it will fall on deaf ears. Maybe AU and UN and the West and all those external forces with interests in how the chaos will benefit them in the now and in the future will diplomatically intervene. At the end of the show down where a coalition and compromises are not met, then will only one thing prevail, and that is God’s perfect will for Nigeria. If it be God’s will that we have come to the end of our continuous unity and existence as one Nigeria, so be it! Only if God permits will the foreseen breakup happen and to prove that it is in Gods agenda and timing, it will happen fast and as peaceful than imagined to the amazement of all who have positioned themselves to sell arms and make all kinds of monetary gains from the chaos and not because politicians want the division, no.
