Why the time for change is now Among all the past and serving - TopicsExpress

Why the time for change is now Among all the past and serving head of governments that we have had in Nigeria, none had plunged the fortune of this country into doldrums as GEJ. The unemployment rate is abysmal high and the worst hit are the youths who are the bedrock of nations development. Public servants find it difficult to get salary and the government has warned that harder time lies ahead. This is a clueless government! No country with high index of corruption like Nigeria can make the top of the League of developed nations. Nigeria is the only oil producing country sitting comfortably at the bottom of World Infrastructure Table at 122nd position in 2012. Countries like Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, India and United Kingdom - which sparse oil lies in Scotland - have better infrastructures than Nigeria. There are glaring reasons in all the sectors to show that what we need in 2015 is change. We cannot continue to depend on good-luck all the time. The present president was in charge in Bayelsa for eight years. He has also spent almost eight years in Aso Rock yet he has nothing in clue for the nation. For a person of his calibre to have opportunity of speaking with an ex-head of state for over an hour and no mention of how to move the country forward means we are in one chance bus with this man as driver. We have had enough experiments under this man, what we need now is change. Yes, change is difficult to imbibe, but it is the only antidote for many years of PDP bad governance in this country. It is disheartening that with all the reputable managers of men, money, materials and machinery that we have in this country, a leader like GEJ is what we can produce to direct the affairs of this great country. The economy of Nigeria had never been so battered. Under Buhari/Idiagbon government in 1983, US dollar exchange for N1.00. Our integrity was intact and there was discipline. Nobody could run his or her private jet with over N300,000 million in a month. There was no Oduah-Gate and the nation was plummeting to higher heights. GEJ is a product of OBJs calculation and imposition. The man who brought GEJ into position has agreed he made a great mistake, apologised and warned that no sane Nigerian should vote in the mediocre. For how long can we continue to hope when the change for better is already here?
