Why there is never any happy ending in Chinese movies? In the best case both lovers loose one another and live a single life ... in the other case all lovers die, and when a third person is involved all three die. But how the make the movies is masterful ... wonderful music and magic colors. Music of tremendous depth and beauty from a movie Ive once watched titled Wuji (The Promise and in German the riders of the wind). Okay, many high cultures were possessed by brutality ... but even today ... I simply dont understand.
