The Huffington Post reported: Facebook Inc said on Tuesday it has taken steps to clamp down on hoaxes and fake news stories that can spread like wildfire on its 1.35-billion member online social network. A post with a link to an article that many people have reported as a hoax or chose to delete will get reduced distribution in the News Feed, Facebook explained. Facebook cited stories about dinosaur sightings and research supposedly proving the existence of Santa Claus as examples of fake news stories. ***Sista Otis Commentary ( Note the sarcasm ) Oh thank God for this new fb feature, I was so confused when I read that Santa was real and riding dinosaurs. Now with this new fb feature, I wont be fooled again, I was half way to the North Pole when fb saved me! I am so happy that the masses will be able to squash ideas outside of the, normal mainstream because the masses know whats best for the rest of us. With 30% of all Americans getting their news directly from fb posts, now we will be able to read only what the masses agree with, weeeeeeee wooooooo AWESOME no need to think for myself now, its what everybody believes, everybody knows that! Never mind that the masses have been really wrong about things in the past, like you know, the Earth is flat and at the center of the Universe, that could have happened to anyone. OK, I know what your going to say, yes all those Germans who followed Hitler into some of the greatest atrocities in history, they were the majority in Germany, they squealed on their neighbors and friends too, but hey, they were just dumb and that could never happen to us, were smarter Americans right? I mean, some of us did believe Santa was real because we read it on fb but thats besides the point. Seriously folks WAKE UP to the BIG PICTURE HERE!!! Just like the Jews who out numbered the German solders but still lined up and entered the train cars in an orderly and peaceful fashion. FIGHT BACK WHILE WE STILL CAN!!! Fight the NSA, CIA, FB...Fight for your voice, it must be worth something if they want to record it and kill it! Difference of opinion leads to enquiry, and enquiry to truth.
