Why this religious divide? If we look back and try to interpret - TopicsExpress

Why this religious divide? If we look back and try to interpret why a religion binds us temporarily- though after a short meeting we may discard this binding, it is because of an assumption that I am good, I have this religion and the other of the same religion will think similarly. Thus this starting binding is justified. But why we hate some religion instead of being curious to know more is a question. I always liked to be eager to be friendly with clean religions like Christians, who create an impression of being just, logical and humane. But history leaves impressions which needs to be washed. Meeting such unknown people from those religions who were instrumental in projecting hatred by their past acts of bias and criminality need to repair the past damage by softening their stand. Unfortunately our vote bank politics does not allow them to be soft, they keep on harping them to hold on to their old positions. Let us hope this Diwali brings them closer. blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes/The-underage-optimist/entry/being-hindu-indian-or-muslim-indian
