Why warm up? - To increase blood flow (and thus oxygen) to muscles, tendons and ligaments and to prepare them, and your heart, for the workout to come. - To increase the brain - muscle communication - To get the blood temp up so your muscles work more efficiently - To get you mentally pumped up! - Performance. Warming up will make you less out of breath too soon and the muscles will contract and relax more efficiently. Youll also improve reaction time and coordination. Basically, warm up properly and youll have an awesome workout!
