Why we like to make our life so complicated...? To me, anything to do with wildlife, birds (birding), undersea, scape (land, sea, sky) is Nature Photography. If you want to show something about mundane life, daily life, extraordinary in an ordinary places, it is called Street Photography. i.e. categories; urban and contemporary, still life street (Images that poetically document the things we buy, sell, fetishize, consume or discard. Although they generally do not include people, such photographs are nonetheless very human images that focus attention on the material props of our everyday lives), peoples characters and story of their daily activities (a slice of life) etc. Photojournalism, when you want to report of something, anything to do with social and culture or environmental change including political scenarios. 3 aspects to consider in Photojournalism are; timeliness, objectivity and narratives. So, the images that contribute to the news and must complying with a rigid ethical framework. Social Documentary Photography is the recording of humans in their natural condition with a camera. Often it also refers to a socially critical genre of photography dedicated to showing the life of underprivileged or disadvantaged people. Documentary Photography is used to chronicle both significant and historical events and everyday life. It is typically covered in professional photojournalism, or real life reportage, but it may also be an amateur, artistic, or academic pursuit. The photographer attempts to produce truthful, objective, and usually candid photography of a particular subject, most often pictures of people. So, Street Photography is fall under Documentary or Photojournalism? If you ask me, I said none of it.
