Why would Cathy McMorris Rodgers want to extend ObamaCare? The question was: should the RNC support delaying the AHC January 1st Mandate for a year? What would happen if - the AHC is NOT delayed for a year: Premium shock - mainstream America will be shocked over the price of health care - especially the drastic increase in deductable amounts. The poor won’t care - because they are not even worried about paying for healthcare. The President’s lies about the AHC as well as those that conspired with him will fester more as the signup time draws closer. The sooner people become aware of the negatives - the sooner the AHC and the administration that created it will become intolerable. The above tee’s up a horrific time for democrats in the next mid-term election cycle. Some feel the RNC could take over both the House and Senate because of public outrage over Obama’s lies; “You can keep your coverage - You can keep your doctor”. OK - what would happen if - the AHC IS delayed for a year - Democrats up for election in both House and Senate get a free pass - the issue will be off the table during the mid-term campaign season. Question: Why would Republicans want that? On a different note - Is it even legal to extend the January 1st mandate at all?
