Why would anyone want to buy PESTO after they find out how easy it is to make your own. We love our homemade pesto and you could even get a little crazy and make your own pasta. Go on get crazy. HOMEMADE PESTO 250g organic baby spinach 180g pine nuts 2 large gloves of garlic squeeze of lemon (optional) I love the zesty favour. large handful of fresh basil leaves 100ml cold pressed olive oil. Process pine nuts and garlic until fine. Add all other ingredients except oil and process until makes a paste Add the oil and whiz it and done. Pop in the lemon if you want zest and add to pasta, zucchini pasta, salads, toast. MMMMMMM the bonus is it makes 3 times the amount that you pay 4 dollars a jar for in the supermarket. No preservatives. Lasts 2 weeks-4 weeks depending on storage. Keep in airtight jar to last longer.
