Why you should not DIET Losing weight when dieting and in the absence of training does not work and here is why... Consider this,when you lose weight on a diet,its not all fat you are losing.in fact its probably also going to be muscle. Why is this important? Muscle is active tissue which uses energy and requires it to stay on your body,unlike fat which is essentially storing unused energy.this is important because your muscle supports your metabolism which is going to affect how many calories you need during the day to not gain any fat/weight. If someone loses weight on a crash diet they will typically put back on MORE weight than they had in the first place. now here is the interesting part,you cant naturally remove or get rid of fat cells.all you can do is empty them.essentially what this means is you can go back to your highest body fat percentage even faster and easier than you did the first time.and now that you have a slower metabolism (due to muscle loss) you are more likely to enter a calorie surplus.when you go back to your old eating habits this will cause you to put on even more fat Bottom line EAT CLEAN - TRAIN MEAN....
